back speaker covers

How do i take them off. im at a loss and spent a half hour trying but don't know how their set up :shock: :oops:

cheers, seems straight forward enough.
Now any suggestions on good speakers that are cheap :mrgreen: , (only have original sterio unit)

Nip into Halfords and get a set of 6*9 speakers. they usually have Alpie or Sony on special offer, check out Argos too and compare prices.

beware though: any 6*9's with built in tweeters that stick up will foul the factory speaker grilles so get flat faced ones.

You don't want to have to hack the plastic grilles underneath the mesh like I did on my blue FTO then have to add foam to stop the mesh rattling......

i got a set of mutant 6x9's out of mds ireland on sale for 30 euro. great sound out of them .

where exactly is mds? it says they're beside liffey valley but i don't think i've ever seen them!

went into halfords and got a set of JGL speakers (GTO938). I never heard of them before but tried them out in the shop and they were better than all the other 6x9s I seen.
100 watt rms and 300 watt peak. 64 euro

Think I know where it is now, i thought they just sold cars! They have the big ford Ram with MDS printed on it outside! actually seen them sell one or two fto's! What else do they sell?

Keiths FTOs would have been around MDS, he has a lot of dealings with them, they sell cars, do alarms (Are Clifford agents AFAIK) and do stereos and ICE etc.
They used to be called APA.
