FTO-Ireland Business cards

Postby CJ » Tue Apr 08, 2008 3:46 pm

I recently joined Club VR4 in the UK, a few club 'business' cards were included in the pack, I thought it was a nice touch.

That got me thinking about the idea of getting some FTO-Ireland biz cards done up to compliment the windscreen flyer, a card is handy to stick in your wallet and hand out as required. I'm not talking about anything flashy - the site logo, an FTO and a small bit of text about the site.

Is anyone in the printing business or know someone who could do us a deal? We could distribute that cards at meets for people to use at their leisure.

I got business cards made up off some web site a couple of years ago, I'll dig it out. Paid E50 for 200. They were only printed one side but were pretty good.

As per gfalls and Dragonhearts advise, I went with Vistaprint and ordered 500 cards, see preview below. I kept the design simple and chose a red FTO for maximum impact (as opposed to personal bias!). The text will be clearer on the printed cards:

They're a good alternative to the window flyer and can be kept in your wallet for ease of use. I'll distribute them at upcoming meets over the next few months.

Re the calander suggestion, I'll look into it. I know that its an expensive option unless you're ordering in large quantities. The FTOOC have a pretty large subscription base so they can absorb the cost fairly easily.

Excellent, they have a very polished look to them.

Does this mean we can scrap the below?

I know it's a bit late but www.moo.com do some interesting stuff and cheaply. I saw some biz cards that were half the normal size the other day and good quality. Good for sliding through the drivers window!

I only noticed this now, how much did the 500 cards cost? I have a couple of printing guys we use for business cards for the guys here in the office and could get fairly competitive rates....

Approx 85 euro for the lot, I'm sure you could get cheaper but this crowd were quick and easy and I'm impressed with the quality.
