Lambda Sensors

Postby Muad_dib77 » Tue Oct 16, 2007 5:27 pm

I need to get a lambda sensor - but I'm unsure which ones will fit.

As far as I know the FTO uses a 4 wire one - and a universal one will generally do. However upon starting to do a bit of research it seems there are different types available.

Narrowband - wideband - universal - I'm slightly frassled - can somebody out there shed some light on this matter for me please?

I was considering getting this one:

Widebands are generally used for tuning purposes, universal would the way to go.

do you know if they sniff for more rubbish in the exhaust gasses or something?

Might just order that universal one and cross my fingers that it fits..

More accurate IIRC.

Plenty of info here if you're bored:
