97 White Facelift FTO - SOLD

Postby IrishPhoenix » Mon Sep 25, 2006 11:42 am

Hi all,

It's with sad news I'm having to depart with my baby  She's been a great car with no problems whatsoever. I'm having to sell it for a more sensible car seeing as times are hard at the moment. It's got low milage at 82,000 kms. It has new alloys that were put on last august and comes with everything as seen. My guide is 9900 on carzone but is negotiable. Hopefully when I get back on track I will get a FTO again in the future :)

Here's the link....

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine'.

Sorry to hear that IP, good luck with the sale. Its a nice machine, you shouldn't have any problem selling it. BTW, you've underestimated bhp in the ad ;)

Sorry, thought it said 170 when I looked first time around. Enough of this, lets leave IP to sell his FTO in peace!

When I see the UK number coming up on the phone I just cancel or let it ring out.

I had terrible hassle from them aswell, it came from an ad in AUTOTRADER, I told them not to keep ringing me as I wasn't interested, They kept saying they had an immediate 6 buyers for my car...yeah rite! I rang Autorader and told them what was going on and they apparently were inundated with similar complaints.

It's a bit quiet on the phone calls on carzone, so I'm dropping the price by 400 euros. I originally put it up high to cover the alloys etc. I'm still waiting for the NCT letter which was due in early September thanks to them ripping me off with only a One year cert due to it being a 97 import. Once I put it through again it will probably speed things up.
