Welcome Keano
Did you organise the importing yourself or thru a company? Took you long enough to make yourself known btw!

Its can be pretty frustrating waiting for a car to arrive from japan... expect a few days if not a week's delay on its way here.
Congrats on the purchase though, 96 Gpx, is it std or any interesting bits and pieces added on?

Hi Mate,
Nice to see somebody opting not to get ripped off by the dealers up here.
If waiting had been an option for me I would have imported myself.
Good one!

It seems that I have not been looking for the replies in the correct places. I guess that makes me look like a numbnut. Not a bad start. in terms of the car, it seems pretty straight forward, not that I'm an expert. The one thing that struck me as unusual was the fact there is a Mitsubishi 6cd interchanger located in the arm rest between driver and passenger???
I am intent on doing some mods and would appreciate some sensible ideas and merchants. Big thanks to Dave for help on the insurance frony.

Hi Gwen,
any of the breakers (a lot 'advertise' on ebay.co.uk if you search for FTO), or Steelroe/RiceRocketUK on here should be able to help you out. A lot of people who had the Mitsi 6 cd changers either just changed them or they stopped working.
hth,
Kev.
