it is a nightmare of a job. I agree. Still, I think I would stick to the OEM part if possible. Where abouts are you having the problem? getting the hoses off the filter, or getting the filter out of the brackets?

I cringe every time I think of this job! It was by far the worst job I have ever had to do on the FTO and I have done a good bit at this stage!
I left the fuel filter untill last because I thought it would be handy enough right? "sure its only an in-line yoke" "Wrong!" Seeing it let alone getting spanners to it etc is a problem.
After 2 hours of chain cursing sitting up on top of the engine I managed it and will never "manage it" again! spending all that time and effort on what should be a 2 min job. :?

get either of the two hoses off the filter dont wanna nove and prob end up wreckin the clamp aswell tryin to loosen them. if i just cut it off and putt and inline one in. it would be a two min jb again and could be part of every other service instead of every 50000miles and hours of shouting and bleeps lol
