Searching for advice on bearings and came across this;

http://www.btrprep.com/fto_works_s.htm

Seeing as I'm on the subject, anyone replaced their front bearings? Presume its as simple a job as any other car is it? And I presume it is the bearing if its a chirping noise from the front wheel when cornering?
Thanks.

Front bearing is not a simple job. You have to have access to a bearing press and the correct diameter metal to press the bearing correctly into place without causing damage. Also you will need a good strong circlip pliers (very strong one).

Circlip is a bit of a female dog. The factory installed clips do not have holes for the pliers so you will have to bore suitable holes. Not easy on hardened clips. But it can be done.
