Door threshold

Just a quick one, I meant to ask people during the meet, but does every FTO have the word FTO on the door threshold that lights up in a kind of greeny blue colour when the door is open or is it a mod on mine? And the dials, do they say Mitsubishi FTO on everyones speedo or that extra too?

Nope. Contrary to what you'll read on most FTO sites, they were optional on all models and AFAIK didn't come standard on any particular model.

They're super cool, would get them myself if I could get a pair for reasonable money.

Yeah they're an extra - difficult to get hold of for decent money.. They look quite nice too.

There's a few sets knocking about in the UK - and even fewer in Ireland..In fact I've only seen pictures of them.

Mine still working and still looking cool at night. Unfortunately they're not exactly as bullet-proof as they should be but still do the job

Aye and they come in a couple of colours, i even have a set unused that lights up red, not for sale btw started getting rust patches on the ones on now (came loose got caught in the door got scratched presto a rust spot) and i plan to change them out sometime.

Wet and Dry sandpaper + clear laquer will do the job.

There not in great condition mate, not too bad thou but if ya really want them i'm sure we can figure something out, since your the first to ask, the ones coming off light up blue, well coming off when i eventually get round to it, which might be quite soon as my fto is sort of going thru a makeover at the moment :)

yea i hav them but i cant get the lights to work,,,
