FTO Service

Postby Myfeckin FTO » Thu Apr 29, 2004 10:38 pm

Hi guys

I'm new to forum - I have had an FTO GR Tip in the past but recently
bought a GPX manual. Have always had trouble in the past servicing the FTO but went on the forums advice and used Paul Nolan in Artane.

Have to say this guy knows his FTO's - had it for a day and managed to do Cambelt,Alt belt and PS belt, fitted ITG Induction kit, replaced all six plugs (used Denso iridium/excellent plugs) Oil & filter change (fully synth) and during the course of the service found he needed to clean stepper motor and replace rear droplinks. Was also very informative as to what would probably need to be done next time round.

All done at a very reasonable cost - though I had bought ITG kit /plugs and belts from Camskill - the labour was a lot cheaper than what I had been paying to a main dealer for my last car (Ford Racing Puma).

Highly recomended!!
