Does anyone know if you're covered with the AA as soon as you pay online or do you have to wait until you receive your membership card? I'll be driving a motor back from the UK tomorrow and I want to make sure I'm covered...

Spotted a rex in town last night, first I've seen in a long time, looked very well...

I would imagine once you've paid you're covered, but sure give them a quick buzz and they'll be able to tell you straight away.

Not just yet, I'm tentative about it until I drive off the port on Saturday evening, all will be revealed soon assuming things go to plan

Update: when you buy AA cover online, it doesn't kick in until 24 hours afterwards, makes sense really...
