Reversing sensor on an FTO is news to me - you maybe talking about the bread van beeping that happens on a TIP when in reverse? Why would you want to carry over that naff feature? (its not on any FTO manuals)

I think he means the wire for the reversing lights?

There should be a switch under the gear stick that has a wire that runs off into the loop for reverse. Not 100% though.

You know the 2 wires that you have to short to make the car think it's in nuetral to allow it to start? Well it's the 2 wires beside that on the same connector block. They are the same colours as the wires on your reverse light switch on the manual gearbox. If you have any more question just ask.

Thanks again for your help Aido C. I've got the wires you mentioned, but can't find a matching red cable to connect the reverse light sensor/switch.



The red one with a blue strip I've matched up, any idea which one would be for the plain red?

i had something similar on one of the fto's I had , but not sure how it works or if it worked .

So you have found one of the wires then. The other one is next to it. Use a multi meter on it to confirm you have the right one or look at the wiring diagram for the car. Im stuck in Germany the past because of no flights. If you still havent found it when I get back I will look it up in the wiring diagram for you
