4g93T into fto

Did anybody tried this swap?? Or does anybody know whether will it work?? I know evo engines have really strong internals therefore these are easy to get great power with bolt on upgrades, what about 4g93 T same situation??

isn't a GSR engine rated lower than a GPX? I know there may be potential for more power though. It's a conversion that interests me too. I'd say it's straight forward enough if you have a 1.8 FTO.

Iv seen 3 FTEVO's online but for the gsr they dont make huge power no matter how highly modified they are.

The GSR 4G93T swap is supposed to be straightforward (as I keep hearing) but I've never seen it done. Theres tuning potential with this engine if you wanted more power, otherwise, I'd go with a 6A12.

thanks CJ I think I will follow this way, if I find reasonably priced gsr engine, I believe with a bit of work on exhaust air intake and decent ecu remap I shall get what I want, anyway it will be interesting project, if I get the engine without too much hassle I will keep you informed on the progress with my fto, at the moment I am forced to drive renault laguna... want my FTO back on road, but it will be couple of month anyway, before I will work her up to my dream standard:(
