Stupid Scumbag Kids

Postby mark » Fri Mar 31, 2006 3:23 pm

Had my car parked everyday/night on same housing development since September last and it's never been touched. Loads of kids in the area and they usually look at it and walk by. So when I see a few kids at it the other day i'm not too worried.
Anyway, they seem to be spending a bit too much time at it so I go out and they run off. My pride and joy had 'kiss my ass' etched into it, they keyed my perfect spoiler from side to side and scratched every other fcuking part of it. My girlfriend recognised one of the 10 yr olds so that's something. The only reason I was there was because I have that stupid flu thing that's always going around.
We called the cops and they came eventually and basically told me to buy a Fiat Punto, honestly.
I'll get most of the scratches out after about 10 hours hard labour but that's not the point. I know I did some stupid things as a kid but I never did stuff like that.

Cheers Helen. To be honest, i've had the car for about 3 years and i'm surprised that it hasn't happened sooner.

Well it goes without saying that we are sorry to hear about this. But it's a big shame that you, the guards (and many other I suspect) have resigned themselves to the fact that type of thing is inevitable. What kind of society are we living in? :smt102

Makes me sick to hear that, they seem to forget that we pay their wages through taxes and that they are actually are employed by the citizens of this country.

Sorry to hear about the damage - had something similar myself recently. If you know who one of the kids was - I'd present a bill to their parents - at the very least, the kids'll get an earfull and maybe think twice about doing it again. You never know, the parents might be decent enough people to pay for the damage.

Sorry to hear that... my last car got keyed on the drivers side, cost me a fair few quid to get it sorted. Its because they can get away with it that they do it, the gards attitude is a joke.

If you recognised one of the kids, the Guards cant say they cant do anything about it. Its criminal damage. Advise them you want to press charges.

Of course, I havn't seen the little fecker since. Probably a relative of one of the neighbours who was visiting. Myself and the cops would be paying them a visit if I found out where they lived!
I think i'll have to let it go as there's no point dwelling on it, even though it's hard not to everytime I see a long keyline across the width of my spoiler
