iv been getting tortured by car theives recently. last week they were at my cars 3 times in one nite
I gave chase wth the trusty bball bat and manged to crack the windscreen and put the drivers window in but this is silly behaviour really as they wil only turn the law onto u if they get injured plus its unlikely to put them off for long.
My car is in getting the locks removed etc but as im moving house next month it wont be back at my front door
I would agree wth everything soc has said altho all ur doing is making the car harder for them to steal and buying urself more time. If they want it they will get it-then its up to the Tracker to earn its keep

soc wrote:Makes my blood boil especially as I know exactly how you feel after having my first gti stolen! Lately though I've become pretty philosophical about this whole thing - the problem is that if they really, really want it they will try to take it. And they are more than likely prepared to go to much greater lengths to get it than we (well me anyway) would be to protect it (i.e. violence).
For me the important thing is no-one got hurt as the car can be replaced. I know that's no real comfort right now though
The only thing we can do is try to play the game better than they do - make sure you have a top quality alarm/tracker, fit security film on your windows, park in brightly lit & public places (if possible), get locking post for driveway (if applicable), get a good house alarm.... etc.

THose photos with the steering lock still attached make it look impossible to drive.
Kace wrote:T - how come they only got 100 yards with the car, was it because of the club on the steering wheel or did the immobiliser kick in ?

God I wish the Po-lice get these twoc'ers..the only thing that will stop them though is if somebody stomps the living crap out of them.. I mean really kicks them till they bleed from their behinds.
