Anyone tried or heard anything about these.
Do not touch with a barge pole -
Their blurb goes along the lines of -
"It will modify any standard ECU by telling the ECU that the incoming air in the intake system is cold and so advances the ignition to compensate producing more power. In many cases fuel economy is increased too. Power is increased by up to 15BHP and torque is increased significantly.
It will be more responsive and you WILL LIKE IT"
HaHahaHa! - "you will like it"
So basically they are saying that they are overfueling the engine by fooling the Mitsubishi ECU into believing the air coming through the induction is colder than it actually is - problem here is you risk pre-ignition and having your valves come out through the engine so I'd say its probably not a good idea to add this - and I can say with confidence that theres no way you'd even see anything like an extra 15bhp before your engine went bang!
Definitely the chaviest mod I've ever seen - its just a basic resistor for 10GBP - Robbery even discounting the damage you'll do to your engine.
Theres no shortcuts when modifying an FTO!
