I'd imagine if you've gone down the road of a VR4 transplant/ added a turbo etc this would be a very worthwhile mod.

Both sold now. Was keeping one for a member on here for ages but had to sell in the end.
I have one I was keeping for myself for a VR4 transplant, but I am willing to let it go as I can get one at any time.

Let me know if you are interested

Would an LSD make any difference to torque steer?

Absolutely - the idea being that the LSD transfers power from the spinning wheel to the wheel with more grip.
Won't neccessarily erradicate torque steer on a FWD car though but it'll certainly help.

What type of diff is this i.e viscous, plate etc? viscous is best suited to fwd application.

AFAIK the FTO has a helical LSD, which is mechanical and doesn't suffer power loss like a viscous one would. I'm not too up on diffs though.

€275 Limited Slip Diff (LSD) ONE REMAINING

Postby steelroe » Sun Nov 08, 2009 11:44 pm

I have one LSD remaining if anyone is interested. €275. Was holding this for another "member" on here for the past 2 weeks and yet again that member did not complete the sale although I was told payment was on the way.

This is a 27 spline LSD. Shafts can also be supplied if needed.

Fitting can also be arranged at extra cost.
