Galant and Colt motor should be fine as well - but Maplins motor will be a lot cheaper - circa €15-€20.

There is a Maplins in Galway,Limerick, Cork and 2 in Dublin.

Heres another example from FTO AUS site -

I know what you mean... my Xsara had lots of bits and pieces in it that I got used to... Had to get a rain sensor, bluetooth phone kit and cd changer into the FTO! Luckily I had a rear wiper on my FTO when it arrived or that would've been on the list too. I had to get used to not having a sunroof, and replaced my drivers door motor too, same as yours, it stopped locking without the key.

In my case I just got a second hand lock and put it in, so it'll prob go again in the not so distant future, but I think I read somewhere that you can refurb the old one, its a resistor or something that gives up, so I'll do that with the original and just put it back in when the replacement one gives up the ghost.

I could do without *any* of that but once you're used to it you're spoilt forever more!

I must go looking for that some day, over in Blackpool somewhere I think.
