Or a couple of inches lower at least! :)
Must have been the weekend for it, I've just spotted Seb's post, but fitted my Apex springs too. Don't have a before photo, but the result... (yes, it could do with a good clean!)

Was hoping the front might be a little lower, but I suppose the gs engine is a bit lighter, and still much happier with the way she sits now. Have the black MX5 side repeaters added too. Next job, a bit of TLC for the alloys. Gonna try to photoshop up some different colours on them and get your opinions.

Looking much better, it's much harder to get the GS to sit real low cos of the engine, unless you go down the coilover route!!!

if you refurb the alloys don't forget to do a "how to" guide...
