I sold the car last year to a decent member on here, who has since sold it on to this seller who's scamming

It's not a mivec, it had 130k on the clock when I sold it, and the timing belt had been done, but not in the past year, and the car has never been garaged, especially since this guy only owned it since 2 mnths ago

He might have converted the millage from km back to miles as it does say miles of the ad. all other info is easy to tell when you walk up beside it.

Still. It's scummy to misrepresent a car in that way. I highly doubt it was converted to miles either. What is obvious to one person is not so obvious to another. Some poor sap will probably end up buying it.

Hold on, as far as I know it's on English plates, and in GB they use miles - just as most Irish people I know when discussing odometer reading. I suppose it's easier to "feel" the mileage in miles for people who has used these units for most part of their lives - I've done it myself once when I was selling my Altezza. I was concerned that people might not read into the ad thoroughly enough to check if it's miles or kilometres, thus the lower number-the better As for the mivec, garaging and belts, it doesn't seem the guy is honest about those things, so... who knows what else he might not be telling.

If he only has it 2 months its likely not converted. Also I don't know if converting to miles actually changes the odo reading from what it was afaik.

I meant converting the millage for the ad and not on the odo, as bart said its up north and they use miles and not kms to make it easier
