She is dead

Postby Massimo » Wed Nov 28, 2007 5:10 pm

Hello all...
My Fto is dead on the 9th November night in a really bad car crash and i nearly died with her in a small backroad in county Meath. :smt022 Frontal impact on a bend with a Subaru Impreza, that's what i've been told cause i don't remember anything of what happened, before and after the crash.
I've been at Drogheda Hospital for 2 weeks...left leg just a fracture...right leg is really bad...hip dislocation (operation for plate and screws), broken knee, calcaneus broken in too many parts(operation to fix all them together with a plate and screws), broken nose, finger and others minor injuries...i am all broken and on a wheelchair but still alive :(
She is gone and it might be stupid but i still cry every day for her cause i really loved her.
And the most frustrating thing is that i dont know why all this happened.
Sad Cheers

Bloody hell man what awful news. Don't worry about the car you'll get another one, that's just material. As you say the main thing is you're alive, somebody upstairs was looking out for you from the sounds of it. Stay positive and you'll get through it. I'm sure everyone on here will be sending on their best wishes. We'll be thinking of you.

Wow, serious stuff Massimo. I hope you recover reasonably quickly, hang in there man. Forget about the car, you can get another one once you're fully recovered. Get well soon.

Sorry to hear this Massimo - but good to hear that despite the injuries you are on the way back towards health.

The FTO is still just a car and can be replaced cheaply these days.
When you get well enough you should post some pictures of the crashed FTO up here.

I've only been on the forum since march or april, but even in that short time there has have been about 3 or 4 members who been in serious crashes. rolling their cars etc, not remembering what happened, and being in hospital. I'm just so glad nobody had died. Massimo, thanks for sharing your story. It's probably tough to come on here and recount it, but Im sure it helps everyone in some way, plus you have our support Im sure. I'm happy your ok. I was only reading today about hulk hogans son (nick) and his best friend John. They were in a one car crash into a palm tree in August. The passenger John is still in a coma, and the doctors think he will spend the rest of his life in a nursing home. So as bad as things seem with this, its all positive from here on as your ok. the body will heal, as will the mind, in time.

Glad to hear you're OK now. It's terrible to think that your car is wrecked but it is only a piece of tin and way easier to replace than you are.

From re-reading your post it seems like you will soon be a piece of tin too : )

I hope you're ok... Feel your pain for the car cause I didn't want to sell it in the first place! Sitting here with my friends and they think I'm a complete weirdo because I'm so sad about it!!!
