Just on the offchance that someone knows of a bass amp head for sale...

Ideally ~300W, Trace Elliot/Gallien Krueger/Ampeg

Just the amp head, I have speaker cabs. Needs to be in perfect working order!

You're talking Bass-amp head as in for a bass gitar right?? Not Bass as in subwoofer for your car..

Or did I get it wrong??

I should have been clearer, soz! :oops:

Its a bass guitar amp head I'm after. My amp has developed a fault which apparently can only be fixed by the manufacturer.

So gotta get me a new one.

Rented a Trace Elliot last weekend for the gig, not a bad amp at all... don't fancy having to pay €30 to rent one every time I have to play a gig though!

Bang on, thanks... I've been prowling around ebay (watching a few at the mo) but said I'd post on the offchance anyone happened to know of an amp going.

Still looking alright... thanks for the link, its a speaker cab rather than an amp though.

Gallien Kruegers seem to be at a shortage (one crowd talking about January sometime) at the moment... might look at Warwick heads again, was warned off them before but worth a look.
