Fitting a sunroof

Has anyone done this? I am worried about leaks etc. It would be an OEM sunroof I'd be getting. Any info would be great.

There was a thread on this before.

I'd say it'd be more trouble than it's worth, FTOs fitted with sunroofs don't have the crease lines that follow from the bonnet.

Getting one to fit correctly with the crease still there would be a huge pain, the other option would be to change the roof skin...bigger pain (and a respray).


They tend to rattle anyway

I never noticed that before. I just seen one for sale thought it would be a nice add on. I loved having a sunroof in a previous car, great for those hot summer days (the 1 or 2 we do get )
I might leave it so, read a few posts there about leaking sunroofs and they were factory fitted. Cheers Bernard.

Don't go shopping in the UK .
i have a sunroof for you

BUT ... don't do it .. it will be a pain in the back to achieve perfect results.
my advice : invest in something else
