Anybody who can beat my GPX manual will have my respect - except the Golf obviously. It still has to go round corners.

Just kidding Shane - I had a Mark 3 GTI for a year (company car) so I suppose I can't really talk.

Well I've no doubt an S2000 will be considerably more powerful - This is one car that is on my shopping list.

You get both flywheel and at the wheels figures in the report, ATW figures are determined using dyno correction factors.

Yip - Jeep arrives Monday - then has to clear customs - wants to do some bits and bobs with it and then its ready for road. He was paying €850 for insurance on his Scooby and hes just got a quote of €580 fully comp for a 3.5l V6 Mivec Paj EVO (32 with full NCB).

I didn't get to see the cleaned replies to that thread - I'm not really sure about some of the contributors to that forum TBH.

No, he just deleted them, i also got a snotty PM saying that's what a blah blah forum is, thought that was a bit much to be honest.

Well - It is a Jeep so 1825kg is actually not that bad.
Power to weight figures should still make it pretty fast - by my dubious calculations it has about 148BHP per Ton as opposed to around 167 on a GPX - but it also has a hell of a lot more torque. I really won't know what the handling/performance is like untill I drive it. We'll try a standing start against the FTO and see how it does.
