Don't waste your money miss-enzo, most octane boosters have little or no impact on performance,. If push came to shove, I'd throw in a can of Silkolene Pro Bost, I used this in the Rex for a few months until I replaced the ECU and had it mapped. If you can get your hands on some toluene, then a 30/70 petrol/toluene mix will liven things up a bit.

I'm sure MfFTO will agree with me here - lose as much weight (in terms of the car!) as you can prior to the run (i.e. nothing in boot, remove passenger and rear seats etc). This will give you a much better 'performance boost' in comparison to ocatnce booster.

I have a crate of silkolene proboost if anyone in the 1/4 mile needs any!

I've put a rather hefty mixture into the Zed for Sunday!

Weight loss is the key to a fast FTO time though.

Its gone up recently to €18 per litre - I bought it at €15 per litre though so you're welcome to it at that price if you like.

Let me know though - cause I'm not likely to be carrying any extra weight in the car unless absolutely neccessary.

For all FTO's on the 1/4 mile - make sure ye are running on 1/4 of a tank or less and ye have taken out spare + tools + boot floor + rear seats at the very least. Pump rear tyres to 40 psi and keep the fronts at 28psi.

I'll bring an electric tyre pump along in the event you guys would rather set your type pressures up at the track.
