PC to LCD tv

I have a Philips LCD tv and when I went to connect it to my PC there was no VGA connection. It has HDMI connections but will these work???

Don't think you can use HDMI. VGA is the one for PCs alright. How about S-Video ? Many laptops and newer TVs have this. It's a small round plug that looks kind of like what the keyboard and mouse plugs used to be like prior to USB

Read the manual and apparently I can connect through HDMI once the PC has a DVI connection, dont think my Pc has this, what does it look like anyway

Pop into maplin with list of your connections (bring the manual maybe) and they'll sort ya out. Theres a load of cables that can convert to a few diff inputs/outputs.
Harvey Norman or Dixons or Currys will all do it too

S-Video is the port beside it
