Guys,
Well it's the time awe all expected. I have finalised the design with the manufacturer and have put the order in for the first 50. Unfortunately he is shut for 2 weeks in August so I can only get 20 done for now.
I will be listing the people who are interested and also trying to get some pics online will need someone to post pics for me). The one I have s a good fit and the holes do cover the plastic hence the fitment will be better. The finish on the one I have has some blemishes on however that is not one, which I will be selling. It's just a prototype for the fitment but the final ones will have a polished finish and will be checked by me before dispatch.
I will there now be requiring payment of the first 20 surrounds but this will be detailed in the next post where I will include the list of buyers.
Thanks to all for being so patience but you cannot begin to feel how relieved I am that these are now complete.
Will post a message this evening when I get home, as the order list is there, however I will try and get some pics online before hand.
I've got some pics done...apologies for the bad quality...rushed at lunch (am at work) and the company dig cam is only 2 MP so the quality is somewhat naff but as I have to send this one back to the manufacturer I didn't want to ask for any money before I had a pic r two to put up.
Check this link:

You can't really see the FTO logo but it recessed as the casting process didn't like the raised logo and it looked quite naff.
Although I have tried to accommodate for the tolerances in the gear surround area I think I have covered all the sizes and had the surround made slightly wider and holes drilled as close to the outer edge however ensuring the structural integrity is not affected.
I think this has been achieved.
Anyway your comments are more than welcome.
Thanks for all your patience.
