evo 5 engine and fto gearbox?

Postby colm_mcm » Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:29 pm

Would it fit?

The f-ies-to may be getting another 250 HP if it does. How long the ftos box would last is another matter

Evo 4 fits doesn't it? Did I see someone with that done in Oz? If the gearbox can hold the power of a s/c I'd imagine it would manage an Evo engine. How hard would a 4wd conversion be seeing as its totally stripped anyway?

The engine's in the back so probably a bit difficult!

It's an additional 250hp on top of the standard gpx.

Have a read here.
That kind of power is possible if you know what you're doing.

wouldn't it be easier to use evo engine and gearbox with disabled rear drive?? this way you can save on LSD, cause at this level of power it is obligatory to install one, and it will cope with all this power better than fto box intended for 200 hp car.
