I'm just waiting for delivery of replacement seat trims from England. They are long, long overdue, but I'm told they will be posted on Tuesday at the latest. Once they arrive, my car will be booked in and spoiler will be removed and I can get accurate p&p costs.

Well, it arrived by courier in 5 peices... For a 4 peice item, can you guess which bit is broken. I'm currently in talks with the seller as am now after a refund.
In case I get to keep the supports, is there any chance one of you might have just the blade? You might have upgraded to carbon fibre and have this one waiting for a new home.

That "OE" spoiler looks to be made of fibreglass? Does anyone know if the original Version R spoilers were made from fibreglass?

A CF replacement blade would look well if you could get hold of one.

You should chase the courier company for the damage to your goods. Its advisable to always open packages like this before signing the delivery receipt or at the very least sign and footnote with (contents not checked).

Funny - the condition of the box doesn't suggest that the break happened when it was in transit. I would have thought that the box would be well bent as well in order to have something like that break inside it.

I wonder did the seller ship it broken already ?

It must have gotten a good smack to break it right through like that.

It is OEM - it is plastic, not fibreglass. It also has the Mitsubishi stamp pressed into it along with the bolts lining up for the GPvR only.

As for the damaged box, I can provide a 3rd photo which shows the crease which ties up with the crack line. It looks as though something heavy was put on top or a foot was put there. Either way, the blade is frolicks'd!

Surely it can be repaired with some cutting into, supporting and smoothing over with some fibre glass.
