I'm sure the doctors know what they're doing but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anyways.

gfalls wrote:Well..! I'm going into hospital tomorrow (Sunday) and I'm under the knife on Monday. Major surgery. Will be in for 6 days. Any of you that seen me at the meet last year when we was karting will know I'm a big bloke (29 stone). Not wise to be having anesthetic. Anyway, if I don't come out the other end, it was great knowing some of you, and chatting with most of you. And, before any one asks, you can't have me FTO :smt018

Remember guys. I did do it my way...!

P.S. Can you keep my dial rings handy just in case I still need them???

Good luck to ya mate, Hope it's nothing to serious. Having recently gone thru a load of major surgery myself and also being a big bloke (no i'm not saying what i used to weigh  ) i know what your talking about, My bp dropped while under anesthetic so i didn't quite get everything i was supposed to get done finished as they had to bring me out and get my heart circulating my blood instead of the machine, But i had been under for over 4 hours at that stage (more wrong with me than the pre op exams. revealed), But the surgeons know what their at and well trained so it wasn't a problem just as i'm sure yours will be :) on a side note thou stay on the morphine as long as they allow great for loosing weight i lost over a stone and a half the week after my surgery from just being on a morphine drip. and i've managed to keep it of :D still loosing infact (still not saying  but i am the best i've felt and looked in years)

Must be something in the Carlow water!! :D
