a/c led bulb

Hello all,
There seems to a few questions up on LEDs and such at the moment, but I've gone through them so hope I'm not repeating anything?
I've gone in to replace the bulbs behind the Aircon unit, have it removed, and the bulbs themselves taken out, but I'm a little stuck now. I've attached a photo of one of the 4 bulbs I've removed, and what I'm wondering is the black base part of the bulb or does the bulb come out of this? (I was afraid to force it to much in case I broke the glass part.)
There's a second part to my question too, which may make the first part irrelevant? I want to replacements to give a red colour to the unit lighting. Will this require a change over to LED's, and a bit of rewiring?

These bulbs dont seperate you can get relacements off the ftooc uk shop for around £9 quid but i dont know if they come in red only blue.
Leds in the aircon unit will cause spotting patchylight whitch can look bad.
You would be better getting ordinary red bulbs but i reckon they would be hard to find unless you are good with a soldering iron and make your own

Cheers for that, just ordered a set this morning, they had the red ones which is great.
BTW, what is the original colour for the lights in the dash/centre console? The were red in my car when I got it, but I doubt thats the original colour?

The aircon unit has an amber sort of glow the way it came from the factory.
It would have been the same color as your mirror adjuster or your fog light switch unless these have been changed in yours.
when you get your leds of the ftooc shop you will have to do a bit of trimming to the bulb holder its a very tight fit so be careful
The leds will be bright enough but you will get a little bit of spotting patchy light
You can cure this by rounding off the top of the led with a bit of wet and dry paper.
Dont take to much off
