Custom mats

Postby karlf » Thu May 14, 2009 9:58 pm

I am looking at getting some custom made mats for my car. Seen a few advertised on ebay that look like they'd be ok. Just wondered if anyone had some made before and if so would they reccommend the place they bought there's????
Would like to be sure of the quality before I order any.
Mentioned this to my sis's fella and he said he could make some in work. They would be made from metal checker plate. Not sure if I'd like that myself, what do you guys think?

Have a search of the forum, custom mats have been discussed before.
I'm sure there's some links that might be useful.

I did a search and came across autostyle . They are nice alright but you cant get the FTO logo on them, which is what I wanted. You can get FTO in a different font but not the exact logo so that put me off.

If you are ebaying it just read their neg and neutral FB. You'll often find they mention the quality (or rather the lack thereof).
