New steering wheel

Postby kevinod » Mon Jul 20, 2009 10:17 pm

Got around to installing my new Isotta steering wheel over the weekend...

It has definitely blinged up the interior although doesn't feel as nice as the last one, which was a good thick steering wheel. This one is much thinner. I'll give it a few weeks to get used to it, see how it goes.

Bit bling for my tastes, I prefer my facelift MOMO

I was thinking the same initially, but it's growing on me a little bit... the shiny bit matches up with the dial surrounds & needle cups as well as the pedals. From the outside the silver/grey bit at the top kinda matches with the paintwork, so its not a completely alien addition. Sure I'll give it a few weeks and see then.

Good quality wheel - I like the flat bottom - helps bring the interior up to date a little.
I put a blue version of this model Isotta in my last FTO (now Topcats) - quite like the feel of this wheel - its difficult to go back to a normal wheel afterwards.

I think that's a seriously cool looking wheel. What's the top (shiny) bit made of? Not steel?
