Sad to say im putting the 1999 GX up for sale after 3 years of happy driving. Although the amount of driving was actually quite low, only 9k kms in over 3 years.
I have the two gpvr's so its the GX that is being sacrificed. Im really only selling it to make room in the driveway.
But if i dont get a decent price or find a genuine buyer who will look after it ill just keep it.

The car looks exactly the same now as it did in those photos.
Its now got 119k kms on the clock, taxed till the end of the year, nct passed last week, but i was late getting around to it so its only until the end of next july.
The car was serviced at 116k kms, oil, oil filter, rear pads, front discs/pads, fluid and a brake bias valve. I done the work on the brakes because i didnt think they were up to scrach, it all seems alot better now. Especially after the brake bias valve (common problem on fto's i believe).

Asking price is 2000 euro ovno. Might seem a little high but the car really is in great condition.

Sad to say sold, really very sad. After four and a half years ownership it's gone to what I know is a great new home.
It's safe to say the new owner is the perfect person to own this car. I know it's in really good hands. A true gentleman and fto enthusiast. I wish him the very best of luck.
It was very emotional driving away from it :cry:

I'll let the new owner reveal himself in time.

Alright I confess, it was me.

I just want to say huge thank you again to Gino, it was pleasure dealing with you and I really enjoyed our chat. I wasn't sure what to expect and even thought that it may be a waste of trip but truth to be told I was sold from the moment I saw the car pull over.

I'll start a new thread later to keep you all up to date. :wink:

Car looks great guys, I've fond memories of it. I always felt that mechanically, it was in great condition from the time i picked it up on the docks, hope its still driving well.

The car is still mechanically sound CJ, only brakes need some attention and possibly bushes need to be changed too (I find the steering response is not very precise - might be the tyres too)

I'm in D15 too, if you want to look at her and take her out for a spin feel free to give me a shout! :wink:

That's the plan Goz! But I'm a bit OCD so everything that put on the GX will have to be rebuild/refurbished first.
