I wonder how many people are still using Internet Explorer to browse?
I found myself that IE very slow and bugged big time. Always something stalling or God knows what.
From some time I'm browsing with Firefox and I have to say no problems at all. And loads of extras and plugins for it.
Wise to install script blocker and no more problems with unwanted ads or popups. Or gestures, can speed up browsing and make it much easier.
What you people think about it?
What are you browsing with ?

I'm using firefox myself, I find it much better than IE.
And like you say, the plugins are great... there's one for just about everything.

Personally, I would have agreed with the IE issues when they released IE6. However IE8 is far afar superior and is now up there with browsing speed. All the most recent testing points towards Mozilla being the slowest at the moment (usually due top the number of plugins installed). Personally I use Chrome for it's sleek simple quick design. As far as compatibility goes, you may as well not even mention it. Microsoft own XML and set the standards, however, they don't even adhere to these themselves. More often, web designers make sites to accommodate all browsers, but the ones that are WC3 compliant and XML compliant won't necessarily work on all browsers.
I'd recommend Chrome to anyone, but I can't see much of a difference anymore with the new IE8. I have no problems using either, and Mozilla annoys me with it's bulky design (granted I haven't used it in a year or so).

Have been using opera for years now, ever since I've had hardly any spy/adware.

Ditto, I'm, a big fan. You still need IE occasionally to augment the browsing experience, but by and large, Opera is head and shoulders abover IE in a numbr of areas.

Indeed, a little annoying. Purchasing things (when you've gone to the bother of putting in all your details) seems to be a hangup sometimes as well.

Use Chrome on the laptop, like the clean simple look of it. And have used Mini Opera a bit on the phone, seems decent.

I think the results speak for themselves.
