Right then - you're barred from the forum!

At least you've still got a GPvR in the family.
We all have to sell our FTO's sooner or later. I bought one back in 99 and sold it in 01 and then bought another FTO in 04 so you never know.
What are you thinking of changing to?

Agent S -

Don't you worry about a thing, before you know it you'll have an FTO back in your drive.

U should post a few pics of the replacement u drive, I'm sure the lads would have some comments. :-) Oh and I do think it's a crackign replacement car...(albeit not an FTO)

:-)

Phew! - It took me a second there to realise you were talking about the FTO not the Russman/Agent S new arrival - FTO Irelands firstborn.
Its amazing to think there wouldn't be an FTO Ireland baby without the FTO Ireland Club - CJ is still waiting on the call to be godfather. :smt102

Ya i have to replace mine :( i'm not to sure what to get tho. The FTO is just not suitable for lugging a baby seat in and out of the back. It will break my heart to have to sell but i suppose it has to be done. I might see can i try it for a while but i can't see it working. I could always put the baby on a bus or something :D
If there was a FTO with 4 doors it would be great but i dont think it would have the same look to it somehow. :)

Congrats by the way! :) I reckon it wouldn't be much fun being a few months pregnant and trying to get in and out of an FTO either!

I hurt my back a couple of weeks ago, fine again now but I was like a geriatric getting in and out of the car, reminded me how awkward it can be!

Luckily I didn't get big at all until the bitter end (when Toby decided to take his sweet time and wait a further 13 days after his due date...) So I was ok until about May ad then things started to get funny!

In an attempt to tempt fate, I even insisted on going down to a track day in Mondello on my due date! Have pictures of me being a crazy lady and everyone eyeing me suspiciously like I was a bomb about to explode :smt096

Me hinting, as if i would, Ya its true. Trying to plan everything now including a wedding in 8 weeks. STRESS!!! now i know hte meaning of the word.
I really would not want to sell my car but thinking on the practical side it could be best. Had you the FTO when Toby was born? Was it hard work lugging everything around in it.

WOW... Congratulations Helen!!! Very exciting!

Helen, darling... If you can afford the FTO's running costs and insurance etc then keep it. It's a pain in the ar$e trying to get a buggy/changing bag/kitchen sink etc into ANY car! The FTO's boot space isn't bad at all so long as you haven't got a sub in it. I got the Quinny Buzz and the frame sits into it so easily! Didn't try any others but that frame folds down into a sort of square shape so it was perfect! Just turn off your driver airbag if you're driving your car with your bump.

Well at least I have Muad_dib on my side. Actually, I'm selling it so if any of you know someone who wants one? Too difficult to get the sproglet in and out and it's not the FTO so it's not worth it!
