Lights Mod - opinions

Postby soc » Sat May 08, 2004 4:06 pm

just saw a picture of a TT where someone painted the plastic headlight pods (where the lights actually sit) - I'm thinking this could look great on an FTO - what do you guys think?

I'm falling back in love with my FTO (despite it badly needed the front arb's and lower arm bushes done) - where's the phone.......

It's a personal choice really, i have seen an FTO in England with it done but the colour wasn't matched correctly to the bodywork, i think he just got the nearest colour in a spray can and did it himeself, so it looked a little cheep, but done right i think it would look great.

Personally if i was going to do it i'd get a pro to do it or at the very least go to a garage with the body paint code and get some made up.

I was actually thinking of spraying them silver - I think silver looks good against the wine colour. Maybe I should have a think about it :-)
