Postby AL » Wed Jan 10, 2007 12:05 am

 bought these from funky, ive never had a problem with any of there good they have, but it took 2 months to receive the dial kit, it cost me £48.00 plus p+p, what i received was an A4 sheet, where you have to cut the dials out yourself, quality of dials is very very flimsey too, jesus am i pissed, is this a joke or what  , ive sent mail to funky, anyone got these dials?

That sounds like some rip off. Could you not have returned them if you hadnt cut them out?

I got the reverse indiglo dial kit from funky, cost me £55 pp, and they are top notch - they even sent me an extra manual dial even though you choose your model on order.

Maybe send what you got back and upgrade to this kit?

Fixed your link Al.

I have the same images (in black / red) on the PC in full size JPG format, I could have sent them onto you for nothing

Link on Funkys site here: http://www.funkystyling.co.uk/item_deta ... =449001833 - it says nothign about having to cut out the dials yourself. If I were you, I'd be speaking with Chris about a refund...

That's a disgraceful rip off.
These companys should know better. After seeing this, I would never use this crowd no matter how good their other merchandise is. These as5holes have no scruples and don't give a toss about how they get our money.
Do they not realise word of mouth is the best advertising.

In fairness to Chris and FP, I've had nothing but good service from them over the years, I know that other members have also had favourable dealings with them. I'm quite surprised that they would sell something like this and not openly state the product description.

Then why do they let themselves down by flogging shoddy merchandise. I looked through the site last night and there seemed to be some reasonably priced goods so why the A4 pages for sale at the price of a decent home printer.
I'd like to think that AL has no problem with getting a refund.

Baldtyres, I'm just trying to provide a balanced view based on my own past experiences - I don't for a second think that the service that Al received is acceptable.

Just adding a general comment CJ, not a personal attack on your opinion or any suggestion that you are endorsing the service that AL recieved.
