Brake Pads - Question

Postby MR. FTO GR » Thu Jul 17, 2008 2:23 pm

Hey all,

I ordered my self some nice new red stuff pads front and rear :D and the bloke sent me 2 prices (below):

UP TO 1995 MODELS
DP3830 £46
DP3987 £40.83

1995 ONWARDS MODELS
DP3830 £46
DP3986 £46.37

Now i ordered both front and rear but i said it was for the 95' onwards model - My car is registered in 95 .... i ordered the correct ones didnt I?

I hope i did! is there any difference?

Thanks

Theres no difference in pad sizes through the production run, rear pads are the same size on all FTOs (DP3986)- its the front pads that differ between models:

GPX, GP, GPvR share front pads (DP3954)
GS, GR, GX share front pads. (DP3830)

Cool, sounds like some nice work you're carrying out there, and looking forward to seeing the black calipers. Good luck with it.
