Broken Splitter

Well folks, brought my car to France, great roads, but my front splitter had a crack in it from a high curb incident, got on and off the ferry no problems, but driving on the motor way doing about 180 and bang! thought sh1t, blow out but everything felt fine so pulled into the nearest layby and the side section of the splitter up to about 6inches from the centre section broke off and i must have rolled over it!!
so i decided to just rip the rest of the splitter off!
Scary stuff but just goes to show the wind resistence at that speed!!!

hence i just ordered a facelift bozz!!!!!!

Haven't had any such problems with my Topmix splitter - I'd be more worried about the Hiro snapping at speed and embedding itself into the following cars windscreen.


Good excuse to go Bozz Speed though - I'm not so worried about my front splitter either for this very reason.

So - you must have gotten some looks in France then - there must be no FTO's over there.
