Despite, the cold, rain, hail and snow today (yes really!), I managed to give the GX a good auld belt of the orbital polisher. We stopped off in the Phoeno today and took a fews snaps - shiney!

The passion red really polishes up well. My first FTO was passion red and it really stands out when polished.

How is Mrs CJ finding the FTO to drive? (presuming shes getting a chance to drive)

She's enjoying it, its a big jump up from the Colt. She gets to drive it from time to time ;)

Wow - very nice.. you did a good job cleaning it :-)

I'd say the missus doesn't know herself now - that is a massive step up from a 1.4 colt (it was 1.4 wasn't it?)...

Looks great CJ,

What polish do you use with the orbital polisher?

They were clean to start with but I used Cif (of Jif if you're old skool) to remove the surface dust and followed up with Wonder wheels to remove discolouration. Finally, I put a surface coat of Autoglm polish on the wheels to bring up the shine and to act as a barrier against staining in the future.

Note, I wouldn't recommend using an abrasive on OEM wheels.
