Tip gearbox polarity

The tiptroic gearlever is set up so that you push forward for up change and push back for down change as per the image below.

To me this seems counter intuitive, I think I'd prefer the oppossite, i.e pull back for upchange, and push forward for down change.
Have any of you guys reversed the polarity of the tip gear leaver?

Do you seasoned tip box owners actually use the tiptronic mode or do you just leave it in Drive most of the time?

When I got the Tip first, I used to use it all the time, now I only occasionally use it for spirited driving. As regards polarity, it depends what you're used to, if I swapped it around, it would take me a while to get used to it I'm sure.

I did look into the possibility of doing this as I find it un-intuitive. However having read the guide I decided it was less hastle to learn to live with it than it would be to reverse the switching and +/- tags.
