Help me price it?!!?

Postby adrian » Sun Dec 07, 2003 7:08 pm

Hi lads and gals,

How much is my FTO worth? I am selling it as you know in order to get a 2Litre GPX hopefully.

I have made a web page for it so please look at the spec and let me know what price you think it should fetch for me.

I MIGHT not sell the MP3 CD Head unit but this might not effect the price much.

I am thinking about 6,000 Euro ONO ???

Thanks as always,

Adrian

Because its a GS, its worth marginally less than the 2L versions, in saying that, a lot of people with buy one thinking that the insurance will be cheaper, which as we know, it generally not the case. The car looks in good condition and has obviously been looked after, assuming you're leaving the original rims on the car, 6k is a good estimate. Bear in mind, if you advertise for 6k, people will want to bargain you down a few hundred. Conversely, if you advertise it for anything more than 6k, you'll be waiting longer to sell it. FYI, the average price of all the 95 FTOs in the B&S at the moment is €6002. Decide the minimum you'll accept for the car and price it accordingly. If you won't move below 6k, advertise it for 6.2k etc.

Wonder would the stereo add to the sell-ability of the car??
Don't have anything to replace it with really for selling? Where would I get a crap stereo to put into it??
