Guys - anyone on here buy this 96 GPX?
Its not in country yet but its sold.
Nice bit of work already done - facelift front / Version R rear / Aftermarket exhaust / looks like its lowered (possibly coilovers?)

Good to see a '96 sold for this money as well - it can only help values of our cars when you see the prices that some dealers are charging for 96 + FTO's.

Mustang - I think a facelift front is in order for your 97 - I'm fairly sure you could ask for an extra 1.5K and sell the car faster as well.

Spotted this one myself. At that stage the price was POA. It's possible they have the year wrong...not unknown on those car sales sites.
Definitely the car looks well. Assuming the year is correct...was it purely a cosmetic change, or did it get a good smack? This guy as with all other traders is taking the piss with the prices. Is it a manual or tip?
How do you know its's sold...did you contact them?

Perhaps I could sub contract the work to CJ
I've already had 3 enquiries about the car (both on and off the forum), and thats before advertising.

Yeah - Spoke to the guy - its def a 96 - the bumper is an add-on apparently. Good point about possible crash damage though - it would need to be checked.

The car sold really quick - Its not in the country yet. I didn't get round to asking if it was Manual or Tip.

Mustang, you wouldn't be able to afford me ;)

I think this is a pretty exceptional sale, someone with not a lot of FTO savvy obviously bought this one, I'm sure SM are delighted with the 4 grand they're after making.

It is sold as I contacted them about it. Deposit taken.
Manual box.
On checking CAPS it comes up as a 97 so I think the price is right for for that year.
If he knew it was 97 maybe be 1500-2000 more

Nice looking car though

This was on a few other sites and there was another pic of it too from the back. I wondered too about the facelift and the '96 year tag. But it caught my eye too and I did consider it having a look even though I am not on the look out for another fto.

Hmm - 35,000 is a nice tidy round figure alright.
Have you seen this already on an auction site Al??
