FAO: Adrian - Firefox issues

Postby CJ » Mon May 07, 2007 5:27 pm

Adrian, I deleted your post by mistake when moving it between forums.

Anyway, you mentioned that you've problems using the forum thru Firefox, care to explain the issue? I use IE6, Opera and Mozilla without any problem, anyone else out there using Firefox?

When using Firefox on my own computer in work the same thing happens to me but then I've no problem logging in using Firefox on a diff system in work. Thought it might be proxy settings or something as Dell are fairly stingy with what they let through the filters

I took a look around the web and there are issues with Firefox and PHPBB prior to version 1.5 opf Firefox, that said, users of later versions also appear to have a problem. I'll see if I can dig something up...

Update: try clearing the cookie cache in Firefox, if that doesn't work, move the security tab down a notch and test again.

I find that I don't get logged off as much if I open a second tab and work from that, leaving the first tab logged on.
