they smashed just the small triangle window from the drivers side, but you pass the guards shed from this side when you leaving my place. He must`ve noticed it .... if ofcourse he was awake
I`ll have a talk with them tomorrow morning so we`ll see.

My mate works in pharmacy and one day he told me that one of the guards comes to his pharmacy to get metadon.... the other guard is probably the oldest on in the world and todays morning when I was passing the entrance gates there was nobody in the shed and the barrier was opened... and guess what... I pay for this in my rent. Bullshit... oooo I`ll talk to them tomorrow

Sorry to hear that, sound's like they ran out of petrol before they could do any serious damage!

A friend of mine had her car broken into for the second time the other day! She drives a Mazda MX5, they took her cd player! But they didn't break the window they sliced open the roof! This happened THE PREVIOUS TIME ALSO! & it was HUGE money to repair!

So she now has the car up for sale!

Sorry to here! :(

Get the engine checked properly, as it has probably been driven very hard without letting the oil warm up enough.

ok... update... after all I`m quite happy... I got my baby back today. They rang me yesterday and told that I could get her back. Took a friend with car and we went to Ganons Recycling Centre ( :!: )... loadz of cars there... crashed, burned, stolen, wide selection  even skyline, s15 and mx-5s.
well.... the car is in good condition I thought it was worse. Just door handle, rear small window, all wires hang under steering wheel and the worst.... bodywork :x there`s no 1 panel without scrathes on the drivers side and has scrathed passanger doors.

Just before those scumbags took her from me I filled up the tank so assuming from needle on the dash they done just about 50kms.

Conclusion? Full respray... well... I alvays wanted to own black one so there is an occasion now
I was driving her back to home to check if there are some "new sounds" and to check how it drives but for me everything is ok.
I booked a full mechanical examination on monday so we`ll see if I was right.

about th insurance... they will send an assesor but I know what will happen.... I`ll have to wait for parts ages so I`m gonna buy the door handle and set of locks with all wiring, and this small window and let them do the bodywork...

I don't want to say that's great news since it's still an awful thing, but it's a relief. Could have been a lot worse.

And it's no bad thing to have an excuse for a respray. ;) Hopefully nothing will be wrong when your mechanic expects it!

Im not sure who would look after this but surely you or you landlord pay a "mangement" fee to have the security guy there.. so strictly speaking I guess it falls to the ombuds man cause the security company clearly had an incompetent person on the job..

Just guessing here

well... I decided not to go through with my insurance company. I was in Halfords 2 weeks ago and bought rubbing compound... The majority of scratches was just too light for respray. It works very well and most of them are done by myself. What`s annoying me is a bent quarter panel but it looks like a perfect bend for dry ice method. we`ll see.
Although the car is in perfect condition after mechanical examination and I haven`t noticed any problems after this episode I`m considering selling her and buy some cheap temporary car.
Maybe I`ll aggrive some of you but I was thinking of buying S15 Silvia next year anyway but FTO always will be my favourite :) I spent a lot of money to bring this car to present condition so it`ll be hard for my heart but...
