What oil do you intend to use in the FTO?

i presume that's how much the labor was.
keith says he's charging 50 all included

and in fairness you can be the biggest enthusiast if you live in an apartment block or somewhere central ... you cannot really change the oil and work on the car in front of all your neighbors. :smt076

Lived in an apartment for years changed the water pump and clutch on an old beemer I had on the street no one batted an eyelid  My granda told me how he and his neighbour changed the engine on an old ford he had in the street back in the day. The neighbour worked in a scrapyard got him the engine from a car that had been subject to a contolled explosion by army bomb disposal. Rest of the car was a wreck motor an box were perfect though. they didn't even have an engine hoist just split the engine an box an hoisted the engine out with straps an lump of wood.

+1 - apartment complexes and central city locations with street parking don't make great places for car maintenance. Never really fancied the idea of a neighbour reversing over my legs by accident.

Hence - I just hand mine over to Paul N

Seems reasonable price keith, i know some RIP-off garages have cost my friends 100+ lol, i now have them all doing it themselves, its free to recycle oil at my local waste depot? maybe commercial use you have to pay.

I'd say its a great idea, especially for elderly people who don't want to drive and wait in a garage to get it done.
Good luck;)
