Spend on mods

Postby kevinod » Tue Dec 06, 2005 12:06 am

Guys,

I don't know how many have seen the garage section on ftooc.org, but I've been adding my car details in there today, and adding up the costs... I know I'm missing some bits and pieces, and prob don't have everything included, and the bill is gone over €3k!! :smt103 :smt119 Thats just over a year and a third, and didn't include the Evo 8 alloys I haven't put on yet, or the bumper mod I'm hoping to do soon, or the money it cost to sort out the bad paint job...

So, I'm wondering if many others have put this kinda money into their p&js, or do I have a problem  or both! :smt033 :smt100

Not sure I'd like to think about this.... but when I bought the car I threw on new billie shocks, eibach springs & neuspeed arb's. Also fitted a shortshifter, poly engine mount bushes and a remap. Now I'm looking at 4 new tyres (ouch), downpipe + sports cat, uprated disks + pads, poly wishbone bushes, 15mm spacers for the rear...... and I swore I'd never mod the golf!!! :smt017 :smt102 :smt021
