your right dragonheart. bhp should peak at 7500rpm and should vertinaly be less at 8000rpm. The fact that there is 10bhp between 7500rpm and 8000rpm seems wrong? I would love to se the scan of the actual print outs. remarkable stuff. If my FTO was making 195bhp or more at the fly I would delighted. 209bhp is unreal.

Not neccessarily true - I have seen different peak power outputs on FTO Mivecs dependant on the mods done. From what I can remember I was getting peak power at 7750rpm at the last rolling road in my manual GPX.
They did the run in 4th gear and it was actually the 120mph speed limiter that interupted the power curve at 7750rpm.
mcgon1979 wrote:..........what was your power at 7000rpm and your power at 8000rpm? was there almost 10bhp in it? maybe Im wrong. Makes me all the more interested to get my car dyno'd in the next rolling road meet.
d_dan wrote:To be honest all that matters is what's at the wheels.... The flywheel calculation can be all wrong...
The only propper way to d it is do an engine dyno and really who's gonna take their engine out to get it dyno'd just to find out what your loosing throught the tranny
