UK Couriers

Postby Kace » Tue May 01, 2007 12:27 pm

All,

I'm planning on buying something chunky in the UK and need to get it posted back to Ireland. Does anyone have any recommendations about most cost effective way of doing this - the guy I'm buying from has asked whether I have any recommended couriers.

Should I just get the guy to use Royal Mail parcel service or does anyone know a good courier that comes to Ireland that would be a good one to use. Package is not too heavy but is about the size of a full rucksack

Time is not an issue so slow mail is fine for me.

Cheers.

I used to use a comapny called GLS - but they're partnered with Parcelforce (Royal Random Mail), so there isn't much of a difference these days.

There's the usual suspects, DHL & UPS as well - but they'll cost ya..
