Reverse lights stopped working

spotted this w few weeks ago , i thought the bulbs were gone.
checked the bulbs and they seem to be both fine.
Next stop was the fuse box , but surprise all the fuses are OKAY.
where should i try next ? it kinda bothers me

no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

IIRC theres a switch on the top of the manual gearbox that activates the reverse lights. One of the other guys may be able to shed some more light on the subject...

yeah sounds like a reverse light switch or wire damage between the switch and lights

The reverse switch is on top of the gearbox alright.... check out the first workshop manual .pdf, page 276 for a diagram where the switch connector goes.

thanks for the info .. the switch looks fine , I did clean it a bit but no joy with the lights ..

Looks can be decieving,did you test the switch with a multimeter
